inside the DesignByThem pop-up store

DesignByThem PosySometimes you have serendipitous moments, like when I walked past the DesignByThem pop-up store earlier this week in The Rocks. The next day, I was all over this design haven from creative team Nicholas Karlovasitis and Sarah Gibson (who have featured in my fave homewares mags) and snapped away to show you this dream in all its glory.

Furniture, lighting, accessories; they’ve done it all – and with sensitivity to the environment. Launched in 2006 and impressing us creative folk ever since, their designs are proudly Australian and really tap into my love of colour (and we all know I’m obsessed with that!).

Top 3 By Design are one of the big ones in Sydney, but the DesignByThem website has a whole list of stockists – http://designbythem.com/

I’d love to see some pics of them in action (and if anyone has the Ribs Bench, a gorgeous throw is just begging to be draped over it!).

  1. Love your blog! Few and Far is one of my fav stores down south – so incredibly divine!!!! Wish they had a store in Syd too!!

If you haven’t done so – check out The Gallery Shop and The Designer Hunter in Charring Cross – Bronte Road. You’ll love them both, I’m sure!!!!!

    • I know – Few and Far remains one of those hidden little gems that I always have to pop into each time I am down there.
I don’t know those other stores but rest assured I will be all over them now that you mention it! Thanks for the suggestion 🙂
