| I am not sure what you call an Easter version of Kris Kringle, but my office is doing one this week and I was so freakin’ excited to get my hands on one of these awesome paper bags – complete with bunny stamp and pom pom – at Paper2 in Surry Hills. I always say the presentation is just as important as the present itself, so once I fill mine with oodles of chocolate I certainly hope the recipient enjoys it!
| I love homes with a good sense of humour, so this naughty gnome, The Non Conformist, is a great way to add a little giggle to your garden. I spotted this one flipping the bird my way at Garden Life in Surry Hills. It’s the most luxe way of saying ‘up yours’ I have seen in quite a while. I’ve named him Spartacus.
| I had the best time wandering around the Entertainment Quarter Village Markets this weekend (pictures coming this week) and felt a gravitational pull luring me toward these babies, courtesy of The Cupcake Princess. There was a whole array of delicious treats present but this pack was by far my favourite. And I always say that nothing can be fattening when it’s bite-sized!
| I know, I know, I am almost becoming a crazy cushion person with no place to put another one, but this awesome Finch cushion from Freedom combines my love of bird ornaments with my obsession over cushions; it’s a match made in heaven. Sadly I have no room for this one on my couch but can someone please get it so I can live vicariously through you?
| I am not sure what the design world did before chevron but boy is it popping up everywhere (you’ll find no complaints from me on that one). This awesome cup and bowl from Kido Store has a distinctly earthy feel and I’d love nothing more than to wander about with this grey and bone coloured mug wearing fingerless woollen gloves (it just makes sense).
| Please allow me to propose marriage to whomever it was that came up with this shop window display in the stunning Contents International Design. In love with the desk, the clock, the lamp, the butterflies; it’s safe to say I am lusting over the entire thing. The brick wall is also worthy of a mention all on its own, as is the awesome carry tray. What’s not to fall head over heels for? The whole thing totally plays into my penchant for earthy tones.
| I live in an apartment that might be described as cosy to some (a feline-filled paradise to others), so a vertical garden is an awesome idea. I spotted this cluster in Buds & Bowers on Crown Street, Surry Hills and absolutely swooned over the succulents and moss. I tell you, even if you have the space one of these would look amazing on any wall. If you have a balcony, even better; every home decorating show tells you that if you’re stuck for floor space, go up – and these do just that!
