| I had my socks rocked off this week when I got my hands on this amazing trio of concrete candle holders from Melbourne company Sarai Homewares. Available in a range of colours – including neon – these three holders are made and set in recycled moulds, which is all rather environmentally friendly! The company also stocks my other love – cushions – and more!
| As someone who has admitted his obsession with bird ornaments, I was stuck down with decorator envy this past week when I spotted these bird artworks in Contents International Design. I’m not sure which one I love more because they’re both so amazing – and I’m also a bit in love with that throw too! Are you smitten?
| I cannot express how much I love this indoor plant and pot scenario from the masterminds at Glasslands (but I am clearly going to try). Not only are the leaves on this Calathea plant beautiful but the white ceramic planter has the most intriguing and divine shape to it. The best part? The unique drainage system means there is no creepy saucer in site. I have this pretty lady nestled on my vintage drinks tray. It’s just magical.
| There are no words I love seeing hit my work inbox more than “there’s a package for you at reception”. I got the best package yet this week courtesy of IKEA; the big blue box, with a helium balloon emerging from it, revealed my invite to IKEA’s upcoming event. There’s going to be loads of news coming out of this one, so stay tuned and I will fill you in on all the goss, Creatives!
| The world seems to be going bananas over pineapples at the moment. They’re popping up everywhere. I showed you some glorious ceramic ones on The Home website recently, and now I have spotted some more in Freedom this past week. I have to say, I am in love with this trend. What a great way to add some pop and colour to your space (and if I get one of these, perhaps I can cut back on the Hawaiian Pizza).
| Adairs does comfort and style so well – and this jumbo chevron floor cushion (from Home Republic) is a perfect example of the two coming together marvellously. What a bold statement this would make on my living room floor. It’s also rather firm and sturdy, making it a great piece of additional seating for guests are around your coffee table.
| Sometimes, when shopping, you’re struck down with an overwhelming urge to dive into a bed setting regardless of the consequences. Thankfully I restrained myself in Top3 by Design this week (no need to call security). But when you look at the photo above and take in the magic of this bedroom setting, how could you not want every piece for your pad? It’s simply divine!
