I did a bit of a clean up on Saturday and thought it might be a good opportunity to show you inside my home. After all, the cats were behaving, the sun was shining and I was busy killing time trying to avoid doing homework for my course (procrastination is something I’ve become very skilled at). 1 | What does one do on a Saturday morning once they’ve watched their recorded home decorating shows? They go vintage store shopping, of course (you know I love me some second hand finds)! I made the treck to Vinnies in Brookvale to see what preloved treasures I could uncover and came across this little beauty. I have some tips on second-hand shopping come up this week, with more finds like this one included.
1 | I lost my mind strolling through Opus Design Co in Paddington and I am not certain I have it back yet. The front window of this store was breathtaking on its own. This ottoman, in all its coloured glory, is the things dreams are made of (if only I didn’t have cats who would take joy in removing every single ball). I love the colour clash that’s going on with this piece – it just works. Continue reading
