A few weeks back, I hit the road to Jervis Bay for the weekend in search of sun and sand (and a drop of Savvy B, of course). I knew all about Indigo Love prior to going as I had the pleasure of visiting this Huskisson store on my last trip down the South Coast of Sydney a year or so ago. This time was different; this time I had my camera in hand so I could snap the store in all its glory.

let’s drool over some nz homewares, shall we?
I love supporting local Creatives, but one must acknowledge the fab things our brothers from another mother are doing over in New Zealand. The decor gods listened to my cries for stunning imagery this week as these snaps from new Auckland store, Indie Home Collective, hit my inbox. If you’re a lover of earthy, eclectic or industrial homewares, have your bib at the ready as we begin the drool-fest. If someone can fly these pieces over to me on the red eye it would be very much appreciated!
real rooms: jill sparrow’s divine dining space
Granted, Creatives, I’ve not heard of Saratoga on the NSW Central Coast – but I’m ready to book my train ticket (or chopper flight) ASAP if it means I get to soak up the sun in this dining room. Belonging to Creative Jill Sparrow, this three-bedroom home is a sun-lovers dream and is decked out with some stunning pieces that make me want to grab at my chest; reminiscent of a daytime soap character when their beau comes back from the grave!
news just in: bonnie bazaar is here!
I do love me a new website showcasing some stunning wares for the home. Even better when it’s by two local ladies who’ve taken their passion for interiors and created something both attainable and breathtaking. Creatives, meet Bonnie Bazaar; a boutique of carefully curated homewares – selected to create interior gorgeousness (and Lord knows I love a bit of gorgeousness!).
review: abigail ahern’s decorating with style
Alert the presses, Creatives; I have been converted! Once a lover of all things light and bright in interiors (you know, sunshine and lollipops, a place where it’s always spring), this release from style maven Abigail Ahern has given me a wondrous appreciate of interiors with mood. The pictures within this release are somewhat dark, very alluring and quite unlike anything I’ve laid eyes upon in an interiors book (and you know I have many).
a chat with interiors legend shaynna blaze
I first developed my crush on Shaynna Blaze way back on season one of Selling Houses Australia. What’s not to love about an Aussie who shares achievable design tips while transforming rooms for needy home owners (and often lending them a shoulder to cry on when they don’t want to hide their soft toy collection)? I was delighted that this gal-on-the-go, who most recently added The Block to her CV, took five to answer my questions on everything from life before TV, being a role model and writing her first book.
decorator dreaming at orson & blake
I received some news over the weekend that delighted me to no end. My new fave store – Orson & Blake – is staying at the Supa Centa in Moore Park! I have been in and out of the store a few times since it landed a couple of months ago and this time around I took my camera to snap their unique wares. It’s tribal, it’s eclectic and it evokes a lovely sense of relaxed luxury; everything a homeswares lover could ever want!
sky parlour in sydney’s eastern suburbs
For a long time, I hoped a homewares store would open in the suburb of Kensington where I live. For reasons unknown, my prayers were answered a few months ago; Sky Parlour finally arrived!
