It seems like just yesterday I interviewed Melissa Leung from Miss Paperie – my first interview for The Life Creative. It was, in fact, six months ago, and boy has she been a busy gal between then and now! The creative mastermind has gone from producing geometric stationery to launching a full-blown, breathtaking range of cushions and phone covers. They’re all stamped with her signature style, of course, and I for one am going a bit gaga over them. Alert the authorities: I am about to swoon!
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; Typo is hands down the place to go for affordable stationery, giftware and decorative pieces. It also happens to make me feel rather youthful and so very on-trend every time I visit the store. They’ve blended the right amount of form and function (with a dash of hipster chic) and their latest releases for your office are no different. Let’s pimp it out!
I’ve said it numerous times; I have one foot in ‘crazy cat lady’ territory and the other is about to step in at any given moment. Being an owner of (or slave to) two cats has definitely impacted on my interior decorating choices and I am always on the lookout for cute cat accessories for my home. It was a glorious twist of fate, then, that Kikki K has just released a dog and cat collection titled Maja and Max – The Best of Friends.
As my usual Sunday evening/Monday morning creative finds post was late (I was making cushions!), I’ve packed seven glorious finds into this weeks finds post; it’s 100% fat free so you can enjoy without any guilt.
1 | I’m about as fond of beige as I am of Chardonnay, so these pops of colour in cushion form from the amazing Missoni Home are what every couch craving a bright splash needs. I spotted this family in Myer in the Sydney CBD and love the pink and blue pops.
