1 | It was Mumma Creatives 60th birthday on Saturday, so I pulled my craft box out (yes, I am a 31 year old man with a craft box!) and made some personalised gift tags using paint card samples from Bunnings. I love using these cards because the range of colours is just amazing. With the help of a balloon-shaped hole punch I got from Lincraft, I made my own little gift tags that are very one-of-a-kind. What do you think?

have you been to the new lakota trading?
Is it possible to fall in love with a photograph? Because these ones of the brand new Lakota Trading in Kensington – snapped by the amazing Cath Muscat – are making my heart skip a beat. In case you’re out of the loop on exactly what Lakota Trading is – brace yourself. It is, without a doubt, one of the best used furniture emporiums Sydney has to offer. And thanks to a change in ownership, it has a new lease of life and its vintage charm is going to take the city by storm!
which-are-you-wednesday: armchairs
There’s something wonderfully indulgent about an armchair. I think it’s mostly because it’s made for one person; a real opportunity to have some you time and claim some real estate that nobody else can invade. Whether you curl up with a book, a wine or a cat (or like me, all three!), an armchair is a home essential. But what’s your style? Cast your vote in this week’s Which-are-you-Wednesday: Armchairs!
ABOVE: This Bold Chevron armchair makes a real statement thanks to its use of contrasting black and white colours. The backrest buttoning gives it an added bit of interest, too. Stockist: Oz Design.
