1 | There were gasps at every turn on Thursday when I popped into Parterre in Woollahra for a wander about. This store is an absolute dreamboat, filled with ornate french homewares, furniture and of course, this glorious stone bird – which has only further fuelled my obsession with bird ornaments. tlc at the east is east night markets
I love to bag a bargain. And when there’s a local, handmade find in the mix, I’m like a kid in a candy store. This past Thursday night I hit my kind of lolly shop – the East is East Night Markets at the Tap Gallery in Darlinghurst. market picks for a glorious mother’s day
1 | You know what I always say; the presentation is just as important as the present itself. Thankfully Kikki K has you covered when it comes to their range of Mother’s Day cards, wrapping and ribbon – in beautiful pink, white and pale green hues. It’s all very floral and feminine and is sure to have Mumma smiling on the big day!

These rabbits, complete with their own little egg holder, are beyond cute. I’m hoping to get back there soon to photography the entire range so you can see it in all its glory!
the gorgeous humble beginnings in randwick
There’s a homewares store I’ve been going to for years now, every time a birthday rolls around and I want to present a gift to someone that oozes heart and warmth; it’s called Humble Beginnings and it’s quite possibly my favourite homeswares store (and ok – you got me – sometimes I go there when there are no upcoming birthdays and I just want a wow moment!).
i went a little crazy with decorative paper
Once upon a time, a stationery addict discovered that craft stores stocked sheets of decorative, textured paper. Once this discovery was made, covering items around the home with paper got a little out of control…
